How do I add an assignment to Content?

Adding an Assignment to Content

Have you created an assignment for a course? Add it to a (sub)unit on the course content page so that students can easily access it. 

  • Login to CELO+ homepage (www.cdu.brightspace.com)
  • Go to the course selector and click the course you want to access (for the purpose of this tutorial, please click [username].Sandbox).
  • Navigate to Content in the navbar of your course. 
  • Navigate to the (sub)unit it concerns. In the image below, I have already created my units and subunits previously. I clicked "Brightspace tutorials" unit to access my sub units, then clicked on Sub-unit sample 2. 
  • Click "Add Existing" on the right side of the page.
  • Click Assignments.
  • Click on the desired assignment. 
  • The assignment should now be seen under the unit/sub-unit  item you initially chose. 


Congratulations! You have now placed your assignment in the content page. Students will now be able to see the flow of your course/program.
